WAC was founded by Michael Edell, a
serious collector as well as a leading
high-technology entrepreneur. He founded
and ran eLabor, a workforce management
software company serving Fortune 1000
customers, for 19 years. Then he brought
work force solutions to the internet
with eLabor, after which the company
was sold. All during this time he grew
his collection of sports memorabilia,
sports cards, coins, stamps, comics,
and even die cast, to huge proportions.
Deciding it was time to apply his technology
and business experience to a company
that would make things better for fellow
collectors, he developed the concept
for WAC. Another driver was the desire
to eliminate the fraud and deceptive
practices that collectors face when
buying and selling collectibles having
been ripped off himself. |
